Advocates Guide to Cultural Competency - Manual written by members of the Diversity Task Force and TAASA staff. The guide provides information on traditionally underserved communities including suggestions for outreach and culturally appropriate services.
"In Their Shoes" Training activity - Activity designed to help participants empathize with the barriers, fears, and mistrust experienced by members of traditionally underserved communities.
Cultural Awareness CDs - A great introduction or conclusion to any diversity training.

Diversity: Unmasking Advocacy, Awareness and Action - Highlights the beauty of the many cultures of the world through the use of masks and costumes. Varied background music.
Statewide Diversity Training - Diversity Task Force hosts free one day training on topics related to diversity, outreach and effective services to traditionally underserved communities. Training takes place the day before TAASA’s annual conference.
