Diversity/Cultural Competency
| The Diversity Task Force is dedicated to offering information and resources to equip service providers to effectively reach underserved populations and supporting diversity and leadership opportunities for rape crisis center staff to promote agencies reflective of the communities we serve. We strive to improve and enhance services to all survivors of sexual assault from diverse communities by facilitating access to reliable and accurate resources regarding diversity issues. We inform, empower and support service providers in their goals to offer culturally-appropriate and sensitive services to survivors of sexual assault from diverse communities.
The task force sponsors networking and career development opportunities for all professionals working to serve sexual assault victims from underserved communities. The task force also assists with aspects of the Cultural Awareness Certification program. Links to Resources |
