Volunteer Management

Volunteers are the backbone of many sexual assault programs. As funding sources dwindle and demand for services increases, volunteers become an even more important part of the continuum of services for victims of sexual violence.

In order to support members in their quest to recruit, manage and maintain skilled volunteers, TAASA offers the following services:

• Technical assistance for general volunteer management issues and for applying for the Office of the Attorney General’s Sexual Assault Advocate Training Certification.
• Volunteer Management Certification program
• An informative Volunteer management listserv
