The Texas Association Against Sexual Assault (TAASA) is seeking a Director of Learning & Evaluation to lead our statewide efforts to strengthen and measure the impact of sexual violence prevention and intervention programs. This position will guide TAASA’s learning and evaluation strategy, helping translate data and experience into meaningful action for survivors, advocates, and partners across Texas.

The Director of Learning & Evaluation ensures that TAASA—and the field at large—continually learns, adapts, and grows in our collective ability to support survivors and prevent violence.
What You’ll Do
Lead TAASA’s efforts to strengthen learning and evaluation capacity across programs and improve how we assess the impact of our work statewide.
Provide supervision, mentorship, and strategic direction for TAASA’s Learning and Evaluation team.
Support staff and allied organizations in designing and executing evaluation activities that assess effectiveness and guide continuous improvement.
Provide training and technical assistance to member programs around evaluation, assessment, and data-driven improvement.
Develop and refine evaluation tools, methodologies, and frameworks for statewide use.
Produce reports, publications, and learning materials such as white papers, evaluation briefs, and infographics.
Collaborate with staff to devise knowledge management systems and performance monitoring dashboards.
Synthesize evaluation findings into actionable insights for TAASA and the broader field.
Track and manage work progress using Salesforce.
Represent TAASA and the Learning & Evaluation team in statewide and national conversations on evidence-based practice.
What We’re Looking For
Depth and breadth of knowledge in program evaluation, including research design, qualitative and quantitative methods, and applied data analysis.
Experience designing, implementing, and managing evaluation processes in community-based or advocacy-oriented settings.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers and partners to promote learning and improvement.
Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and project management skills.
At least five years of supervisory experience leading teams or complex projects.
Excellent writing, presentation, and data storytelling skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms.
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and survivor-centered, culturally responsive approaches.
Ability to travel across Texas as needed to provide training and technical assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce administration.
Proficiency with qualitative data analysis programs such as NVivo or Dedoose.
Command of a language other than English.

The Office of the Governor is looking for a Family Violence Criminal Homicide Prevention Task Force Program Coordinator (Program Specialist III) to work in the Public Safety Office.

What You’ll Do
This is a job that performs complex (journey-level) consultative services and technical assistance work. The focus of this position is providing support and coordination for the Family Violence Criminal Homicide Prevention Task Force. Work includes coordinating meetings, disseminating information to various parties including members, frequent contact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, and performing other internal support work.
Coordinates FV-CH Prevention Task Force meetings, including Steering Committee meetings, and other meetings as required.
Coordinates, prepares, edits, and distributes meeting materials, meeting minutes, meeting correspondence, and other documents.
Maintains and updates program documents including membership lists, timelines, reports, summaries, policies and procedures, and training and operating manuals.
Compiles and edits data for charts, graphs, and databases.
Assists in analyzing data and supports preparation of data summaries and reports.
Ensures that FV-CH Prevention Task Force website and online resource directory content is comprehensive and up to date.
Assists with preparation of periodic and special reports and ensures that deadlines are met.
Assists with research and editing of agency publications such as brochures, forms, manuals, and reports.
Manages and maintains schedules.
Prepares and compiles presentation and training materials.
May respond to general inquiries regarding FV-CH Prevention Task Force activities.
How You’ll Qualify
High school graduate or equivalent; and
Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in administrative assistance, support, and coordination.
Note: Experience and education may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis.
You’re a Great Fit with
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in government, criminal justice programs, business, or a related field; and
Experience in the field of criminal justice, victim advocacy, or crime victim rights.
