    The Director of Learning & Evaluation ensures that TAASA—and the field at large—continually learns, adapts, and grows in our collective ability to support survivors and prevent violence.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead TAASA’s efforts to strengthen learning and evaluation capacity across programs and improve how we assess the impact of our work statewide.

    • Provide supervision, mentorship, and strategic direction for TAASA’s Learning and Evaluation team.

    • Support staff and allied organizations in designing and executing evaluation activities that assess effectiveness and guide continuous improvement.

    • Provide training and technical assistance to member programs around evaluation, assessment, and data-driven improvement.

    • Develop and refine evaluation tools, methodologies, and frameworks for statewide use.

    • Produce reports, publications, and learning materials such as white papers, evaluation briefs, and infographics.

    • Collaborate with staff to devise knowledge management systems and performance monitoring dashboards.

    • Synthesize evaluation findings into actionable insights for TAASA and the broader field.

    • Track and manage work progress using Salesforce.

    • Represent TAASA and the Learning & Evaluation team in statewide and national conversations on evidence-based practice.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Depth and breadth of knowledge in program evaluation, including research design, qualitative and quantitative methods, and applied data analysis.

    • Experience designing, implementing, and managing evaluation processes in community-based or advocacy-oriented settings.

    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers and partners to promote learning and improvement.

    • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and project management skills.

    • At least five years of supervisory experience leading teams or complex projects.

    • Excellent writing, presentation, and data storytelling skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms.

    • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and survivor-centered, culturally responsive approaches.

    • Ability to travel across Texas as needed to provide training and technical assistance.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Salesforce administration.

    • Proficiency with qualitative data analysis programs such as NVivo or Dedoose.

    • Command of a language other than English.

    • Lead the review and updating of existing materials, coordinating with volunteers to ensure survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally resonant approaches.

    • Manage TAASA’s inventory of printed materials and oversee logistics with printing vendors for replenishment and distribution.

    • Collaborate with the Communications Manager to support social media and public-facing engagement.

    • Partner with the Member Liaison to strengthen member engagement.

    Texas Association Against Sexual Assault (TAASA) is seeking a SART Support Specialist to provide training, technical assistance, and coordination support for Sexual Assault Response Teams and the programs that participate in them. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of survivor-centered practices and the ability to collaborate with professionals across multiple disciplines. You’ll work closely with communities statewide to ensure SARTs are strong, effective, and grounded in trauma- informed advocacy.

    What You’ll Do

    • Identify gaps where sexual assault programs are not available to participate in SARTs, as required by Texas law.

    • Serve as a statewide liaison, connecting SARTs and allied professionals with local sexual assault programs or advocacy services.

    • Collect and organize information about local SARTs to inform statewide efforts.

    • Conduct SART trainings based on TAASA’s priorities.

    • Provide technical assistance to SARTs and program staff to improve survivor outcomes.

    • Support TAASA’s outreach efforts by identifying speaking opportunities, stakeholders, and other ways to engage local SARTs.

    • Attend SART meetings when needed or invited.

    • Develop and maintain SART resources, including templates, communications, coordinator lists, and the TAASA SART webpage.

    • Serve as support staff to the Sexual Assault Advocacy and Systems Response Team, offering SART expertise to projects and initiatives.

    The Office of the Governor is looking for a Family Violence Criminal Homicide Prevention Task Force Program Coordinator (Program Specialist III) to work in the Public Safety Office.

    What You’ll Do

    This is a job that performs complex (journey-level) consultative services and technical assistance work.  The focus of this position is providing support and coordination for the Family Violence Criminal Homicide Prevention Task Force. Work includes coordinating meetings, disseminating information to various parties including members, frequent contact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, and performing other internal support work.

    • Coordinates FV-CH Prevention Task Force meetings, including Steering Committee meetings, and other meetings as required.

    • Coordinates, prepares, edits, and distributes meeting materials, meeting minutes, meeting correspondence, and other documents.

    • Maintains and updates program documents including membership lists, timelines, reports, summaries, policies and procedures, and training and operating manuals.

    • Compiles and edits data for charts, graphs, and databases.

    • Assists in analyzing data and supports preparation of data summaries and reports.

    • Ensures that FV-CH Prevention Task Force website and online resource directory content is comprehensive and up to date.

    • Assists with preparation of periodic and special reports and ensures that deadlines are met.

    • Assists with research and editing of agency publications such as brochures, forms, manuals, and reports.

    • Manages and maintains schedules.

    • Prepares and compiles presentation and training materials.

    • May respond to general inquiries regarding FV-CH Prevention Task Force activities.

    How You’ll Qualify

    • High school graduate or equivalent; and

    • Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in administrative assistance, support, and coordination.
